Terms of Service for The Rebooter’s Guide

Last updated: 08/08/2025

Welcome to The Rebooter’s Guide. By subscribing, reading, or interacting with this newsletter, you agree to the following terms.

1. Content is for informational purposes only

I’m here to help you understand and troubleshoot everyday tech problems. While I aim for accuracy, you use any tips, tricks, or recommendations at your own risk. If your router explodes, your printer bursts into flames, or your smart fridge starts sending weird tweets, I am not responsible.

2. No professional-client relationship

Subscribing to this newsletter does not create a professional consulting relationship. If you need in-depth, one-on-one help, hire a qualified technician. Or bribe me with coffee.

3. Intellectual property

All original text, images, and designs in The Rebooter’s Guide are mine (unless otherwise credited). You may share excerpts with proper attribution, but you can’t repost entire articles, sell my content, or pretend you wrote it.

4. Paid subscriptions

If you choose a paid plan, you agree to the price and billing terms listed at the time of purchase. Refunds, if any, are at my discretion (and usually only if I really screwed up).

5. Privacy and data

Your email address and any other personal info you provide will be used only for delivering content and related communication. I do not sell your data. Spam belongs in the trash folder, not in your inbox.

6. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. If I do, I’ll let you know in the newsletter or on the website.

Bottom line: This is a fun, helpful, and occasionally sarcastic tech newsletter. Use the advice wisely, laugh often, and please — reboot responsibly.
